Rocky Mountain Dawn is the story of Esther and Johnathan which is set in the fictional town of Royal, Colorado. Esther longs to do God's work. She writes a letter to the American Mission Board to request a missionary post. Dr. Johnathan Shepherd is made aware of her letter as he has requested a pastoral position.The board grants their requests but with a condition that he take a wife.

On their wedding night, Johnathan realizes that he needs to teach Esther what goes on between a man and a woman. "As your husband, it's my responsibility to guide and correct you." He disciplines her by spanking her. Esther doesn't understand these feelings coursing inside her. But her reactions to her spankings lets him know that his "little vixen" likes to be punished.

Along their journey West we meet Miles and Lyle who fit in nicely as secondary characters. Both of their stories are revealed in greater length in Rocky Mountain Bride and Rock Mountain Rose.

I can honestly say that I have never read an Erotic Western novel before. I was pleasantly surprised that I fell in love with these characters and this series. Through Ms. Savino's exceptional storytelling I felt as if I were watching their story unfold with vivid details of the West. She made me feel their strength, their love, and their passion. As a fan of Erotic books, I certainly appreciate her writing talent and I hope you do as well.

Esther and Jonathan will steal your heart! This is a sweet story of love, discipline, and steamy steamy sex. Esther finds herself in scrape after scrape Jonathan adores her ability to find trouble but still deals with it useing he firm hand. This is a super hot super sweet romance that had me swooning!
This is a sweet romance (with some hot spanking involved). Esther is an innocent with a little bit of a defiant streak. Johnathan wants to tame her without breaking her. They manage to reach a mutually satisfying arrangement. I enjoyed this story and look forward to reading more of this series.
This story had it all, good old fashion DD, a new husband trying to keep his little wife's behavior in check, and a couple learning to love and make their way in the new west. Loved the characters and how they interact with one another and support each other in their marriage. A great read!
First book in the series and I really liked it. I've been getting into the whole Domestic Discipline thing and Lee got this one really good. Easter and Johnathan are really convincing and I could tell her really did love her!! All in all, a great book and am looking forward to the next one in this series!
This is the story of Esther and Johnathan. Esther is the eldest of eleven children and has been educated. She wants a man worthy of her. She writes to the Missionary Board asking to be sent to the frontier as a missionary. Then, she meets Johnathan, who also wants to be a missionary but needs to be married. They agree to marry and start travelling to the frontier. They eventually reach the Rockies, where they settle. This is a sweet book and has disciplinary spankings. I give this 4 stars.
